Vision for El Chapo, the Rancho Funk Vintage Funk Truck Our 1966 C10 was roachy and well loved when we found it sitting in a carport in Apache Shores,  Texas. It was wearing Mexico plates but titled as a Texas truck. That was the beginning of a mystery  that is still unfolding.  Our goal for El Chapo is to have a vehicle we can use for our business, which is vintage picking, and reselling. To that end, we want to have hand-lettered door art on both sides of the truck and with hand-lettered type on the bedsides like the truck above. We want the type to look aged and hand-done.    DOOR:  RANCHO FUNK  Bee Cave, TX BED SIDES: SIDE ONE:  RETRO -  MID-MOD - BYGONES - ODDITIES SIDE TWO:  FUNKY - VINTAGE - FINDS   Our plan is to leave the paint and body intact but to add some new touches.  Disc brakes up front, an updated lowered suspension and a basic detailing to the engine compartment.
