I could clean that thing up.

Four cans of Gunk later...

Might as well clean and inspect the plug wires...

Even though the owner claims it's a runner I'll have it flat towed to Rancho Funk.

It's pretty damn straight for being 56 years old...

Maybe I'll put my other truck's drivetrain in it?

Yeah, the maroon truck back there.

Tommy towed it for $120.00. Better safe than sorry.  

Dig the two-tone, but those wheels. Uck. 

I dig that factory bumper.

It's sure be a cool daily driver...

Here's how I found it. 

It hadn't been registered since '05. 

Gunky but it doesn't look like it's been messed with. 

The hood is really straight and everything is nicely aligned. 

Rust in the typical spots, but nothinmg too terrible...

The sticker with the Mexican plate is cool. It's staying. 

That little amount of rust is a perfect patina...

I wonder who sheet metaled the glove box. Intersting. 

That bench is in pretty nice shape...

The bed has been done in diamond plate. Beefy. 

Oh, Mexico. The stories it could tell. 

This is a shot before I washed it. 

It even has seat belts. Huh.

The tank looks to be in good shape. I'll need to drain it in case the gas has turned to varnish

IT seems to be in good shape...

A little rust never killed anyone...

It even has the factory visors. Redone in felt...

Both sides. 

I'll have to order a new glovebox strip.

The dash isn't all cut up. 

Not sure if this is the original steering column and wheel. It's set up for 

shifter. 

This isn't too bad...

The grill has it's good side...

and it's bad side. 

Fortunately, I have another grill. 

The battery was dead when I bought it. 

No power brakes. but the booster looks newish. 

The trim has seen better days...

Driver side under door has some rust bubblage. 

Not the rust bubbles. This has had some work done. 

The bed sides look pretty damn straight. 

HAs a little issue on the top right side of the tailgate.

The gate itself is in pretty sweet condition though. 

The trickle charger didn't do shit.

Gawd those wheels look stupid. They're 24s. Yeah, 24" wheels.

Bad alignment on the rear left tailgate...

The side bed is in pretty good shape....
